Born in 1993, Zoé Aubry develops a practice of critical, feminist, and experimental visual research through photography, within installations that unfold in space. Her work aims to reveal the mechanisms of visibility, hypervisibility, and invisibility of dominant media narratives. Positioned between societal and media critique, her research-based projects, which constitute image/text databases, revolve around the problematic modes of visualization and transformation of perceptual formats.
